Colilert® is the fastest Total Coliform and E.coli test available in the world today for all water types.

Utilising Defined Substrate Technology (DST), in just 18 hours (or 24 hours), it simultaneously detects and enumerates coliforms and E.coli in water. It can be performed as a presence/absence test or quantified using the Idexx Quanti-tray® system, and requires only 1 minute hands on time.

No media preparation, glassware cleaning, colony counting or confirmations needed. Detects a single viable coliform or E.coli per 100ml.
