The Filta-Max™ system is a novel filtration and recovery procedure, designed specifically to optimise the recovery of Cryptosporidium and Giardia in water.

Multiple layers of open-cell foam discs ensure that the trapped oocysts remain captured until released by the washing process, which takes as little as 15 minutes.

US EPA Method 1623 and UK DWI-approved.
Suitable for large volumes of water (100-2000L)
High Flow rates of 4L/min compared to 1.5L/min for conventional filters.
Recoveries greater than 80% consistently obtained for spikes in the range of 100-1000 oocysts in volumes ranging between 100-1000L.
Filter modules do not suffer from breakthrough problems associated with conventional filters.
Clogging problems are minimal.
